Wheel Throwing Classes
Come learn how to throw pottery on a wheel! We will teach you the ins and outs of making pots. From centering, shaping, and surface decoration, we will share our knowledge of this lovely craft with you. Classes will run for 6 week intervals.
Beginner Series - For those who have never thrown with clay or want to brush up on the basics.
Intermediate Series - For those who have thrown with clay and want to expand their skillsets.
Our Class Structure
We will be meeting once every 6 weeks for 3 hours. Classes will be taught by Julie Locke, a potter with 9 years of wheel throwing experience. Our classes are small and intimate, so everyone can get ample time to ask questions and learn the craft.
We will have around 2 and a half hours to make and then clean up takes around 30 minutes.
Each student will receive 25lbs of clay and can purchase more if needed. Glazes, tools, and firings cost are included in class fees.
Our studio is conveniently nestled in Plymouth MA and less than 5 minutes from the highway.
