101: Wheel Throwing - Wednesday Evenings

A perfect course for beginner potters. Learn the basics of throwing on the wheel and explore the world of ceramics. We will introduce you to all of the beginning steps to creating on the pottery wheel, including wedging, centering, and throwing simple forms like bowls and cylinders. We will also touch on trimming, glazing, and more!

Our class sizes are small, so each person can get the attention needed to grow their skills. 

Fees include 2.5 hours of class time (1.5 hours making and 30 minutes cleaning), clay, glazes, tools, equipment, and firing costs. 

We will guide you step by step and help you get confident in your practice. 

We will meet once a week for 6 weeks on Wednesdays, starting on February 11th and ending on March 18th, from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm. 

If needed, we will schedule a rain date class as well. 

Our studio is on 15 Billington Sea Rd in Plymouth, MA. 

There are no refunds/returns for classes as spots are limited and fill up quickly.
